how it all started
THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT BAG
Established in 2019, the story of Bling&Co started when we were preparing for the wedding of one of our founders, Krizia.
We had everything figured out, hair, makeup, gown and shoes… Except for our bags.
We did not expect to have so little choices when it comes to evening bags. We tried going to the malls and sourcing online but we were seeing the same basic, cookie-cutter designs.
Surprisingly, our entourage had the same problems, the principal sponsors were wearing heavily beaded gowns with intricate designs so they were looking for bags that would complement them. On the other hand, the bridesmaids were wearing a plain gown so they were looking for a plain bag to also complement them. No matter what we were all wearing, we were all looking for the perfect bag!
That statement piece to elevate how we looked that night.
Established in 2019, Bling&Co. started while we were preparing for the wedding of one of our founders, Krizia.
Everything was pretty much figured out. The hair, make-up, gowns, and shoes… Except for the bags.
We scoured the department stores and online shops, but unfortunately, we just kept seeing the same cookie-cutter designs.
At first, we thought we were the only ones who were having that problem. That is until, we’ve spoken to our entourage. They’ve admitted that out of all the accessories they needed to complete their look, it was the bags that were the hardest to find.
Everybody was just desperate to find a bag that would not only carry their essentials, but one that would perfectly match their gowns and create a statement as well.
How we did it
We took matters in our own hands
Luckily, we still had some time before Krizia’s wedding. So, we requested a good friend of ours to design some bags for us in time for the special event. These bags would later on be the pioneer designs in our collection.
On the day of the wedding, everyone, including our family, friends, and guests, LOVED our bags, which absolutely complemented what we wore. A few of them asked us where we got our bags and requested to supply more of these bags for them.
Slowly, word about our bags got out, and we began to provide more & more of them to accommodate the specific designs and requests that our customers would have.
Now, Bling&Co has a mission: to provide unique and timeless clutch bags that emanate elegance and style. Each Bling&Co bag is carefully handcrafted by expert artisans to ensure the quality of our products. We believe that you should look and feel special in every social gathering and memorable event you go to.
